PM Narendra Modi : Today he declared banishment of Rs 1000 and 500 rs note, he added that all citizens needed to support our government to fight against Black money, to stop the spread of counterfeit notes, terrorism and corruption. Our PM said that Rs. 1000 and Rs 500 will be no use from tonight 12:00 am then you can change this notes from your bank and post office nearby you till 11st November 2016. As Modiji said that he will bring back the black money and stop the spread of counterfeit notes – he took a very clever step that now onwards Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes are like a paper as all the money laundering are done in 500 , 1000 rs note now it will stop.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took this revolutionary step to stop the major assault which is making us weak in terms of progress – black money, fake currency and corruption.
You can use your current Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes be accepted till November 11 2016 at these below listed places :-
- Petrol Pumps and government hospitals
- Railway, airline, government bus ticket booking counters
- Consumer co-operative stores run by state or central government
- Milk booths authorized by state governments
- Crematoriums and burial grounds
There is Bank holiday tomorrow i.e., 9th November 2016.
PM Modi has said to exchange the current 500 rs and 1000rs note with the new 2000 rs and 500 rs notes from November 10 to December 30.
Exchange them from a bank or post office till 24 November. The limit for exchange is Rs. 4000. The one who wanted to exchange their 5oo rs ad 1000rs notes after 3oth December 2016 they can deposit at the Reserve Bank with a declaration till March 2017.
The daily transaction limit for the day is 2000rs and weekly atm limit is rs. 4000
